We believe children should eat balanced, nutritious meals; which is why we provide a hot lunch and morning snack four days a week (sack lunch from home on Fridays).
Pre-K (2 to 5 year olds)
At Fingerprints Christian Preschool we are eager to help your child get ready to excel in Kindergarten. Our curriculum is designed in learning centers (see Our Curriculum) and is implemented to follow the Frisco Independent School District Kindergarten Guidelines so each child will be ready for elementary school. These centers are:
- Creative Arts - Block Building - Music and Movement - Dramatic Play - Christian Teachings - Library and Language - Math and Manipulatives - Science and Discovery
In addition, our Pre-K classes use the A-Beka books to learn the alphabet, practice writing skills, and learn math concepts. We encourage the use of computers in the classroom to better enhance learning skills.
We encourage parent involvement and believe communication is the key to your child’s success. At the end of every day, each student is provided with a detailed “daily sheet” communicating the child’s activities to you, the parent.
