Christian Teachings and Character Development
We believe that nothing is more important than building a strong Christian foundation upon which a child can rely for their entire life. We encourage children to learn stories from the Bible by attending chapel weekly, and while emphasizing living by God’s word on a daily basis.
Our teachers believe in the importance of character development through teaching children how to be leaders, treating others with respect and developing individual responsibility. We reinforce these and other important traits through living examples, songs, stories and role play.
"Handwriting Without Tears" and "Get Set for School"
"Handwriting Without Tears", the same curriculum utilized by Frisco ISD, is developmentally appropriate and designed so that children can thrive and build a strong foundation for life. It uses music and movement to help children recognize letters, develop strong writing habits, build physical coordination for proper pencil/crayon grip, all while building their vocabulary.
This award-winning curriculum was developed almost 10 years ago in response to requests for hands-on teaching materials and strategies that would make learning fun and easy for preschool students. Today, Get Set for School features Readiness & Writing, Language & Literacy, and Numbers & Math programs that incorporate the same special ingredients to foster success:
